Dr. Adnan Ahmed DDS, FICOI

Dr. Ahmed joined Dental Innovations in Grand Rapids, Ohio, in 2008 to provide high quality dental care. Since then he has continued his education with courses in implant dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. He has received a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and continues to study best practices and new techniques in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Ahmed enjoys the artistry of dentistry, as well as the knowledge of cutting edge science and techniques for incredible results.  To create a beautiful smile, perfect teeth, and a healthy mouth, the artistry is very important. His focus is on providing excellent patient care, serving individuals and families – from kids to great-grandparents, in a community-based practice.

Tested technologies and specialty services are incorporated with best practices every day, not just offered a few days a month.

He enjoys building relationships and involvement in the communities he serves. Dr. Ahmed shares his interest in art and artists, traveling, and enjoys spending time with his family. Reflecting his passion for motorsports, he recently became a contributor to a national publication for dentists, Incisal Edge, writing reviews of automobiles.

Dr. Ahmed received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, followed by a Doctor of Dental Science from the New York University College of Dentistry. He then attended a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey.

Dr. Bradley Stanciu DDS

Dr. Stanciu brings 30 years of expertise as a general dentist to Dental Innovations. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of dentistry in 1989 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.  He and Dr. Ahmed share a friendship that has grown over 15 years, a number of those years spent working together as colleagues. Dr. Stanciu’s undergraduate education was completed at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Engineering where he was accepted into an accelerated curriculum in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He continued to explore his scientific interests and was chosen to join a research team in the Department of Periodontal Pathology and Molecular Biology where cutting-edge research led to discoveries in the field of immunology. As part of his research program, he found himself instructing post-doctoral Dermatology Residents techniques of tissue culturing in the Medical school at the University. Dr. Stanciu understands that continuing education is an essential element for any technical field in order to innovate and progress. He completes courses every year, to remain current with the latest advances. He has received training in the restoration of several implant systems and with Invisalign. Dedicated to patient care, Dr. Stanciu makes every effort to comfort his patients and gain their confidence through his understanding of each individual’s needs and desires. When Dr. Stanciu is not chair side caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include: cooking, golf, travelling, attending concerts, skiing and astronomy. He met his wife when they were in dental school in Chicago, and they moved to Toledo in 2003 and have 2 daughters.

Our Hygienists:

Kathy – Registered Dental Hygienist

Kathy has been a Dental Hygienist in our practice for 15 years, she continued her education as a Dental Hygienist graduating from Rhoades College in 2000.

She enjoys working with patients that she has seen in the practice for the past 30 years.

Kathy also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Tammy – Dental Hygienist

Tammy graduated from Owens Community College in May 2003. She has enjoyed working in private practice, as well as, working as a clinical instructor at Owens early in her career. Her favorite aspect in the dental field is the relationships she builds with her patients. She loves getting to know them personally and becoming part of a dental family. She values being able to positively impact her patients with their dental and overall health.

Tammy and her husband have two beautiful daughters, who keep them very busy with sporting activities and showing horses. Along with her love of family, Tammy enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

Kimberly – Dental Hygienist, EFDA

Kimberly began her dental career in the administrative side of a dental practice in 1999 but realized her great interest in working hands-on with patients. She began assisting and returned to school to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. Kimberly provides our patients with the best care she can by educating them on the best ways to improve and maintain their dental health. She has a particular interest in working with children. Her goal is to lower patients’ anxiety toward dental treatment and listen to patients’ concerns.

Kimberly enjoys her family, friends, reading, yoga and nature.

Kennedy – Dental Hygienist

Kennedy is a 2017 graduate from Owens Community College. She enjoys meeting and getting to personally know patients on a daily basis, as well as educating them about what’s best for their oral health. In her free time, Kennedy loves spending time with family and friends, drinking coffee, and reading a good book.

Inna – Registered Dental Hygienist

Inna graduated from Owens Community College in 1996 with a degree in Dental Hygiene, and has enjoyed practicing since. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. Inna is well-aware of how stressful dental visits can sometimes be and aims to provide a relaxing, friendly atmosphere in her treatment room. It is a priority for her to stay up-to-date on the best available treatment options. Inna promises all of her patients a gentle touch and the same attention she would provide for her own family and friends.

Inna upholds the spirit of living life to its fullest. She enjoys travel and gardening, loves to cook, and adores dogs.


Tara – Office Manager

Tara is our day-to-day operations manager for our two dental locations and has been with the practice since 2002. She brings experience and expertise to running a busy dental office. Tara has a passion for dentistry and for the great things it can do for people. She is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers as well as their Virtual Study Club.

Tara has three children with her husband, Chad.

Heidi – Scheduling Coordinator

Heidi has been with Dental Innovations for 3 1/2 years and enjoys meeting new people each day.

Heidi has been married for 19 years and has 5 children. She enjoys watching her children play sports and spending time with her family.

Ashley – Scheduling Coordinator

Ashley has been with our practice since 2015. She attended the Maumee Valley Dental Assisting program. She enjoys seeing the happiness that great dental work brings the patient.

When she is not at work she enjoys doing hair, drinking coffee, and spending time with her animals.

Brittney- Scheduling Coordinator

Brittney attended Penta Career Center for Dental Assisting. She has been with Dental Innovations since 2008. She enjoys working in a team-oriented atmosphere in a patient-based practice.

Brittney and her husband have one child. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Aimee – Scheduling Coordinator

Aimee has had the pleasure of working in the dental field for the past 4 years. She has a passion for patient care and loves meeting new faces and seeing what a difference a smile can make for a person.  She feels so fortunate to be part of the Dental Innovations’ team!

When she’s not at the office, she’s all about spending time with her amazing husband and two beautiful children. As far as hobbies, she loves going to music festivals, playing Rock Band, reading, and cooking!

Libby – Scheduling Coordinator

Elizabeth attended Maumee Valley Dental Assisting program. She worked as a dental assistant chair side for 2 years before adopting a more administrative role in dentistry. She enjoys working with patients and loves making people smile.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hosting game night, and cooking.

Jennifer-Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Jennifer has been working at Dental Innovations for over 5 years, as an EFDA and Dental Hygienist. Jennifer’s career first started in the dental field in 2002 by joining the air national guard right out of high school. She stayed in the military for six years as a dental assistant while she was in dental hygiene school at The Ohio State University. After four years, she received a bachelor’s degree in the Science of Dental Hygiene in 2006 and has been practicing ever since. She enjoys seeing people’s mouth change for the better in overall health and appearance.

She’s also a wife and mother. She and her husband have two handsome boys and two dogs.  They love to travel as much as possible and spend time with family and friends.

Samantha- Dental Assistant

Samantha is a dental assistant and has worked at Dental Innovations since 2012. Samantha enjoys meeting and talking with her patients each day.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband on their home away from home, their boat.

Kara- Dental Assistant

Kara is a dental assistant and graduated from Owens community college as a certified dental assistant. Kara has been working at Dental Innovations for 3 years.

Kara enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Lydia- Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Lydia is one of our newest staff members. She has been in the dental field for 8 years. More recently she attended Owens Community College to receive her certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary. Her favorite part about her job is working in a family friendly atmosphere where she enjoys getting to know each patient!

Lydia recently moved to the Toledo area in 2017 and spends her free time with her family and friends enjoying all Toledo has to offer.

Tracy – Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Tracy has enjoyed working Fridays with Dr. Ahmed in Grand Rapids since September of 2017, and has recently joined the Perrysburg office as well.

She has been a dental assistant for more than 25 years and received her EFDA certificate form Owes Community College in 2012.  She loves being a hands-on dental team member and truly enjoys meeting and getting to know new people every day.

Tracy enjoys traveling often, cooking and walking at the park with her 2 dogs.  She lives in Bowling Green with her husband and 2 children.
